Gail Bremner is well known and respected in the tourism industry, not only in the Saint John region, but also provincially, regionally and nationally.
Gail’s counsel is actively sought, as she has a proven track record in leveraging partnerships, increasing profits, introducing new revenue streams, building consensus, and mentoring organizations.
For over 20 years, Gail Bremner has been a prominent figure in Atlantic Canada’s tourism industry. After beginning her career in hotel group sales and servicing, Gail joined Aquila Tours, where her various roles saw her implementing and managing partnerships, leading teams, surpassing sales targets, providing customer service that generated loyal repeat business, and learning how to run a successful business.
She led the facilitation and consultation process, for the new Destination Marketing Organization for greater Saint John, which was approved by Saint John Common Council.
Working for the City of Saint John, Gail discovered her passion for helping organizations grow, which led her to form her own company, Bremner & Associates.
Throughout her career, Gail has been actively involved in the tourism industry and local business community. She has served as President of Team Canada, as well as President of Hospitality Saint John. She has been a speaker and panelist at the National Tour Association Annual Convention and for New Brunswick Tourism and Parks, as well as on a variety of other occasions.
Gail has also volunteered in key roles with a variety of community organizations and events, including Marathon by the Sea, the East Coast Music Awards, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, ALS Society, and Multiple Sclerosis Society, to name just a few. In fact, Gail’s outstanding commitment to the tourism industry and community was recognized when she was honoured with the Volunteer of the Year Award from Hospitality Saint John (2003).
